Create Account

Before you begin using your TRX7, create a TRX account so that you can save searched trails and your user-generated tracks.

IMPORTANT:

• You do NOT need to create separate TRX7 and TRX Trailhead accounts. If you've already created a TRX account on your TRX7, use that email address and password to sign in to TRX Trailhead. All data that you've saved on your TRX7 will automatically sync on TRX Trailhead when you sign in with the same account credentials.
• You cannot save or sync any data from the TRX7 device without creating an account. Not having a TRX account can result in lost data. If you don't have an email account to use for your TRX , create one for free using Gmail, Outlook, or any other secure email service provider.  
• Creating a TRX account will also create a Magellan GPS account for use on www.magellangps.com. 

Note: If you already have a Magellan GPS email address and password, use that account to create your TRX account. If not, creating a TRX account will also create a Magellan GPS account for use on www.magellangps.com.

Note: Make sure your device is connected to WiFi Connection before creating an account.

To create a TRX user account:

1. Tap Settings from the TRX Dashboard.

2. Tap Account Profile.

3. Tap Create Account > follow the instructions to enter your account details.

4. Tap Create Account to finish creating a new TRX account.

5. You'll receive an email confirming the creation of your TRX account.

If you created a TRX account from TRX Trailhead site, you may directly use it to sign in your TRX7 device and register.

1. Tap Settings from the TRX Dashboard.

2. Tap Account Profile.

3. Tap Have User Account? Sign-In

4. Enter TRX account and password. Then Tap Sign In.
