Finish/end trail banner-option

Can't recall seeing this before the last update but, now there is a finish/end trail banner that informs the user how long it is to the end of the loaded trail.  

 

Need/want a way to remove this banner PERMANENTLY as it decreases our view of the trail on the map.  

 

Some positive feedback--- do like the new feature of being able to select altitude and other features by selecting the upper right hand corner.  Nice and large icons.
