Below are screenshots and instructions on how to update the software of your TRX7 or TRX7 CS device.
IMPORTANT: Make sure when doing any update, the device must be plugged into a power source (AC charger) and the battery is charged to at least 60%. Do not unplugged the device from the power source while doing update to prevent interruption that may cause system error. The device must also be connected to WiFi hotspot.

1. On TRX Dashboard, Press Settings |

2. Press Software Update |

3. Press Update |
 |
4. Now downloading.. Wait for it. |
 |
5. Press Install |
 |
6. Installing... |
 |
7. After APP Installed, press Open |
 |
8. Press Start Download |
 |
9. Unpacking Resources... |
 |
10. Were DONE. This is the new display feature of the latest software update. |

11. To check the software version. Go to Settings, scroll all the way to the bottom of the settings list. Select Product Information

12. Latest Software Version is 4.50.0017 and MAP Version is 4140000 |

I'm getting concerned that Magellan is longer providing software updates for the TRX7 CS GPS unit the last update was in May of 2020 to version 4.50.0017 are there plans to keep these units up to date with the same software as the TRX7 CS PRO or not

Well, it's been three months now sense this post and still no word from you guys about the lack of support for these TRX7 CS units so I guess my next stop will be PCI RACE RADIOS for a Garmin tread xl unit at least from them we can get the support we deserve
