Pressing the power button on the TR5 and TR7 GPS puts the screen into SUSPEND MODE, it does not completely power off the GPS.
To completely power off the GPS after use, press and hold power button for 2-3 seconds until the screen says "Powering Off"

I press and hold the power button for 2 or 3 seconds, the TR7 says powering off, screen goes black then a few seconds later the home screen comes back on. It does not want to turn off completely
