Move existing track to new folder
Old manual says to grab the trail marker and drag to new folder- does not work. I have several tracks and points to try to organize into folders. One new folder for BGR, one for Rd Cloud, one for KOFA, etc.. Then move tracks, etc to appropriate folder. But how do I do it?

Hi Stan,
You need to create a new folder and select trip entries to be added. You may follow the steps from the link below:

Apologies, I did not make clear the environment. I am using Win10, Chrome, TRX Trailhead.com to create 'trip' folders. Then want to copy tracks/way points into that folder. I have so many tracks I can't find individual ones easily. With folders I can separate tracks geographically named Folders to make them easier to find.
So using Trailhead I can create 'trip folder's, but getting tracks and way points into the New Folder is a problem.
It is possible to get tracks into the new Folder by:
1. select the new Folder under Logs
2. use slider bar on right of logs to see the waypoint/track of interest, then click and hold mouse on the item, next move the mouse to position the item on the new Folder name and release the mouse. A copy of the item will appear indented under the new Folder name. Note- the original item is still outside the folder also. If I change my mind I can delete either item [original or copy in folder] without effecting the other. Just click the item to be deleted on the 3 dots to the right of the name, on the resulting popup click the delete button and okay it.
Problem: if the item to copy to the folder is not in the log view with the folder name I can not get it copied. [try it] Both names must appear at the same time on the log to do a copy.. Work around - use 'Sort' to try to get both in view at the same time. Software fix appears simple- 1. select Folder, 2. use slider on right of Log to find item to copy, then click and hold with mouse on item, drag mouse arrow onto map and release. Item should them appear in Folder. Since 'Folder' is selected and mouse already changes from a slashed circle to + sign, this should be quite easy to implement with minor software changes. Would be nice to be able to select several items at once with little check boxes and then copy them all at once.

Hi Stan,
Thanks for your feedback.
If the folder and the item (track, waypoints, etc..) cannot be viewed on the Log at same time, you may also click and hold mouse on the item, then scroll the wheel found on the center of the mouse until you find the folder, and then release the item.
Before you delete the item on your logs, you may export it as GPX file and save to your computer or micro SD card. Once the items were saved on the new folder, you can't returned the items back to the Log nor can export as GPX file when using TRX trail head.
