My trx7 doesn’t give me trails in canada

Hey, i bought  trx7 but unfortunately im doesn’t work good in Canada. I didnall software updates and i called customer support but they didn’t help me. When i did a search for gas stations near me or walmart it only shows me the nearest in us not in canada, also for trails address always it lead me to usa. What i have to do ? Please I need a help i cant use it or do anything because  it’s a useless in canada. Thanks

  The best way to find the address is using the steps bellow:
  1. Select search
  2. Select nearby
  3. Select city or zip
  4. Once the city or zip is entered, select the city from the list
  5. Enter the numeric address first followed by the street name.
  A list of close matches should populate if the address is still not found. Then it's possible not in our map data. You can try to search by coordinate or point on the map.

  Lyza, your recommendation doesn't help at all... none of those options of select search, nearby or city worked at all... it keeps showing everything in the states.

  This is an issue that I raised a year ago and it's still pending for a fix.

  Is there an ETA on when it'll be done or should all Canadians start getting rid of the magellan TR and TRX devices and go with Garmin?

  At this point I'm angry and frustrated due to the lack of support and software updates.

  I sold my device after waiting more than 6 months without any support of updating maps or fix this issue.

  I bought the device new for 650 and sell it for 200 without even use it for one hour.

  It’s useless device in Canada. They sell it as a gps for Canada without including any Canadian maps.

  This company should be refunding anyone that bought it with the intentions of using this thing in Canada as its falsely advertised and very unusable here. Only thing I can use it for is to record where I went (basically useless unless I'm lost lol). They say they provide a Canadian base map but when looking for a gas station in Fernie Bc it try's to take you to one south of the border as none are in their Canadian database. (oh wait there is no Canadian database) it absolutely recognizes nothing up here.
