New Update: Can't login or get past "Synchronization"

    Yep, just sitting there for me too.  I'll leave it sit for an hour or so.  It's not just you.

    OK, things seem to be OK now.  It did take a couple of hours for the "synchronization" to do its thing.  My guess is that there was / is a new map update, which usually means a very large file(s) size.   Don't give up Charles.

    I wish lol. I let mine sit there for over 12 hours, no issues with internet either. 

    I'm pretty close to giving up, plus it lagged before this so I can only imagine now.

    Try this:  "uninstalling" the latest update, then installing it again.  Go here:

    I followed the instructions, and now the TRX is working as intended.  It did take a couple of hours to download / synchronize.

    I've done that unfortunately...

     

    over 6 times. I've done full resets on the entire tablet, waited, etc. 


    The reason I know something is messed up is if I create a new user before logging in (where you sign up or enter your login details right before the synchronization part) it works okay (I can get into the map, view things, start recording a track etc) but if I try and log out and back in to my normal email, it freezes. Same thing, at the "synchronization" part again. I've tried waiting hours and hours, but it just doesn't work. I don't even have a lot of logs/trips/tracks/etc.

    I've actually contacted tech. support.  My TRX was working fine for a few minutes after update, but now it's just shutting down on me.

    I'll let you know what I find out.

    Heh - well, apparently you and Clay have already had a chat.

    However, what seems to work for me (in the interim between this newest update, and the "next" one) is that I just down-dated the software to the previous version.  It seems to work for me.  I'll be on a run this weekend, so if I continue to have problems I'll post here.  I just get annoying pop-ups that tell me there's a new version available for download.

    I can confirm that using the previous software does work as well. Each time I delete the app and load up the old stuff (since it loads the old software first and then has you update) it works as normal.
