Questions the TRX7 asks while you are trying to drive
I have been using and loving my TRX7 unit ever since I bought it at the Overland EXPO 2016. I have logged over 300 dirt miles and it has taken me on several great trips and trails throughout Colorado..
Last week I was using it in the Leadville CO area and noticed something I wanted to bring to your attention. When you are following a trail in the system and the satellites show you are driven off the trail, the TRX will gong and ask you a question about staying on the trail. You have to answer it Yes or No. That is a problem! While driving offroad, many times you are not able to reach down and hit the No or Yes button. Several times, this happened to me and I was unable to click on the No button and I lost the trail in the machine. I had to stop and reset it to find the trail in my wish list and start over again. The way the question is worded about you have left the trail, do you wish to stay on the trail. The answer is Yes or No, but you are concentrating on driving a shelf road or obstacle which could keep you safe or kill you depending upon the situation.
Could this be changed? Maybe there could be a delay in the asking the question to see if the satellites find you and you are back on the trail/track . Or make it where you do not have to interact with the screen to continue on the track or trail? On harder trail or tracks where driving off the trail could result in injuries, having the navigation not ask you questions to continue working would be a bug help.
Thanks for listening to my thought, I'll still use the TRX7 as I like it and it has all my history in it. But improving the interaction while it is tracking you driving down the trail would help in the safety or the vehicle and its passengers.
Thank you,
Denver Colorado

Thanks for the feedback Mike. We have recently worked on a setting that will allow you to set the distance that these messages are triggered, or turn them off completely. I like your suggestion that we should consider removing the Yes/No confirmation because interacting with the message could be dangerous to your current situation.
Thank you!
