Server warning
Am attempting to upload gpx files to Trailhead and am getting "Internal Server Error" warning.
Anyone else?

Hi David,
The GPX file might be too big to upload that is why you got "internal error" message.
You have to break them down. There are different ways to split the GPX file. You can search from google. Or you can try this site:

Lyza, thank you for your quick response about the file being too large but I don't think that is the problem as I tried 3 file sizes, 76kB, 230kB, and 13kB and received the same warning about the server with each file. I was able to work around and get the files loaded to the gps unit via sim card but when I sync'ed, the new gpx files did NOT appear in my logs panel. In the past the sync update has been instantaneous. When and if a folder for the gpx files is in the logs panel, there are no contents in that folder. I checked my manual and do not see a file size restriction so if there is one, please inform me and the group as to what is the file size limitation. Below is the warning I am getting when I try to up load a file via the web interface.

Hi David,
Can you share with us the GPX file you want to upload? Kindly email us at trxsupport@magellangps.com or you can drop a message via this site.

I’ll bet you don’t even know your own address. Could it be trXsupport@magellangps.com?

Not yet. Am suspecting it is an internal to them server issue they were not aware of. I did get my files through to them, or at least I think they went through. Didn't get a bounce back so here's hoping. In the mean time I've been copying the tracks to a SIM card and copying over that way. Not ideal but it is a work around until they get this fixed.

I had to replace a battery in mine and these people were no help at all. I found a guy in customer support at the company that actually makes this thing, Mitac. He was willing to help somewhat but I was mostly on my own tracking down a replacement from eBay and it seems to work better. I still have this problem of a gradual drain on the battery even though it’s plugged into the cradle the whole time. Eventually the battery drains down to nothing after many hours of navigation.
