A. UNINSTALL THE TRX APP
(Skip these steps if you have no TRX APP in the apps screen)
1. Tap the Apps icon (a circle with six dots) from the device home screen.
2. Select Settings.
3. Scroll Up and Select Apps.
4. Scroll up and select the Magellan TRX app.
5. Tap Uninstall.
Once you've uninstalled the APP from your TRX7 unit, proceed for reinstalling the TRX Software. Make sure your device is connected to a WiFi source and plug-in to a power source all the time.
B. REINSTALLING TRX SOFTWARE
1. Open the internet browser then type in the following web address: https://tinyurl.com/yy8skwnp. Then tap GO.
2. The TRX software file will be downloaded to the downloads folder on your TRX7. You can slide down the top left corner on the screen to see the software is downloading.
3. After download completed, tap Apps icon from the TRX7 home screen.
4. Tap File Manager in the Apps page.
5. On your internal storage, select Downloads folder.
6. Tap on the APK file in the downloads folder.
7. Select Next a couple of times.
8. Then tap Install to begin installing the TRX version 4.09.0022.
9. After Installing, select Open.
10. Select Language, then click Next.
11. Then click I agree on Magellan End-User License Agreement.
12. Make sure you are connected to a WiFi Network before clicking Next.
13. Select Update to update device to version 4.17.0006.
14. Click Install after downloading update.
15. Click Open when App is installed.
16. Make sure you are still connected to a WiFi Network before clicking Next.
17. Select Skip. DO NOT CLICK UPDATE when prompted to download version 4.50.0017.
18. Then click Start download to download resources of version 4.17.0006.
19. After downloading, it will show New update in Settings, then press OK.
20. Press Back to go to TRX dashboard.
21. From TRX Dashboard, select Settings.
22. Tap Updates.
23. It will then prompt you to update software version 4.50.0017, tap Update.
24. Click Install after downloading update.
25. Click Open when App is installed.
26. Then tap Start Download to download new resources of 4.50.0017.
27. You may now Sign In your TRX account.
28. Go to Updates to continue Updating the Map.

If you did factory reset on your TRX7, you may refer from the link:

I got mad and did a factory reset and it removed the app for me. Now will try to re add tonight...
